Principal Q&A: Dan Cirone

Our newest principal to Eastern Christian School, Dan Cirone brings unparalleled energy and enthusiasm to the North Haledon campus. A passionate Christian scholar with a commitment to guide high school students toward success in faith and in life, we are excited to celebrate him during this National Principals Month.

Why did you want to work in a Christian school environment?

Eastern Christian is the perfect place for me to be all of myself, passionate about education and my faith in Christ. The two don’t have to be mutually exclusive, and working at EC is a great example of that. 

What is your favorite memory at Eastern Christian School?

I have two. The first is seeing the field in use and being part of the entire community as they came out to watch the soccer games during HomEComing. The second is partnering with Christian staff at public schools to see Fellowship of Christian Athletes get off the ground.

In your role as principal, what are you most excited about this year? 

Seeing our HS community continue to grow together through the new field and ditto Student Commons. The times of fellowship and collaboration are invaluable to the culture and community of our school.

Name one thing you love about being principal!

I love the opportunity to be a positive influence on someone’s day, student, staff, or community member. I love being able to collaborate with others.
