In an era where teacher shortages are widely reported and student learning is suffering, Eastern Christian recognizes God’s faithfulness in providing a full staff of individuals who are professional, educated and above all, committed: committed to Christ, committed to our students, and committed to providing an excellent Christian education.

Teachers are at the heart of our school. Consistently, internal school surveys show how much our teachers across all campuses are loved and respected. In their own words, parents tell us some of the reasons why:

They are welcoming…

“The staff and students welcomed my daughter and made her feel like she belonged [from] day one.”

Effective…

“The way the girls are doing their research for classes, such as APA format, is teaching them the proper way to write papers, which shows me they are prepared for college.”

Faithful…

“Integrat[ing] faith into everything, the faculty is extremely caring to all the kids; the school’s desire is to take the children as individuals and help them grow where they are at; the challenges and accountability within the classes, it creates a safe place for children, parents and staff–both physically and emotionally/mentally.”

Nurturing…

“The teachers are excellent, loving, caring–like a second mother to my child.”

Excellent…

“There is an exceptional caliber of leadership in this school. It’s apparent from the moment you come on campus.”

 Supportive…

“The faculty and staff of Eastern Christian School have been hard working, supportive leaders in the lives of our kids over the past three years. Our family has seen tremendous strides in our children’s academic progress, as well as an increase in their spiritual and emotional maturity and health.”

 Challenging…

“It feels like a family environment. Teachers challenge the children. My son loves this school.

 Transformative…

“EC has transformed my son’s school experience. He went from high levels of anxiety, hating school, and feeling like a bad student to a kid who can’t wait to get to school in the morning and who feels supported and loved by his teachers and peers.”
