We’re Back! EC’s First Day, 2020: 172 Days in the Making!

It’s been 172 days since we were last on campus together- and is it ever good to be back! The start of our 129th was unlike any in living memory. After literally months of planning and preparing for a safe, academically excellent return to school, Eastern Christian School is officially open for learning again!

Students in both online and on campus learning models officially began school at EC this morning. For our on campus learners, Three bright, clean and updated campuses and EC’s amazing, loving, professional faculty welcomed new and returning EC families to the first day of the 2020-21 school year. Echo the Eagle even made an appearance for our youngest students to help them enjoy their first day just a little bit more!

Our COVID-19 reopening plan includes scores of new safety protocol for building entry, learning and community space social distancing, face coverings, hand washing, and increased cleaning. But even amidst all of these changes, being back on campus felt surprisingly “normal.” It is so good to be back together!

Please continue to pray for the safety and wellbeing of all of our students, faculty, staff, administration, and families. We’d like to do 180 more of these days this year!
