Today is Giving Tuesday! LEARN MORE & GIVE NOW
Boys basketball had three games this past week as we wind down the 2015 season. We began with Manchester on Tuesday. The team played hard and were ahead after the first quarter but Manchester’s pressure turned out to be more than we could handle. Henry Ruitenburg led the team scoring with 12 points. Thursday’s game was played at Pompton Lakes. It was a great game back and forth until the fourth quarter. We played great defense and Ricardo Smalls led us scoring 14 in a 48-37 loss. Saturday the boys defeated Veritas Christian Academy 54-32. It was a great atmosphere with the fans really cheering the us on. The game started close then the boys locked down on defense and took over. Sam Veenstra and Ricardo Smalls both had 14 points to lead the way. We enter our final week of play with a record of 6-14. We are on the road Thursday against Garfield and finish the season and celebrate our Seniors at home Friday night 7p vs Pequannock. It would be great to have the mighty fan base come out and support the boys. Hope to see you there!
